I have no memory of my childhood and I know from what I’ve been told by my parents, brother and friends that candy is much different today than it was when we were kids.
I do remember when Warren Buffett bought sees candies in 1972. He really liked the quality of their candy so I don’t understand why he changed it. I remember how much better the better creams were before he came into the picture.
I had a payday yesterday. I suppose I enjoyed it since I don’t remember what they used to taste like.
My dad used to always talk about the Goo Goo Clusters. They came out in 1912 or 13 and I understand they’re sold in Walmart still. I have to get down there. I'll be able to walk out of the cold. It's supposed to be 63° tomorrow. I rarely ever go to Walmart so I never saw them.
If I remember right he paid two cents for one, probably over a dollar now
Take care,
Jake

Sees Candy has been around for sometime, I didn’t know that the taste had changed over the years. I love my dark chocolate, do they make boxes of dark chocolate?
In college I worked in the old Cherry Hump candy factory (no longer in business). Besides those cherry bars, we made chocolates covered Easter eggs and rabbits. Kind of hysterical to think about. I always came back to the dorm smelling like sugar and hated Easter Candy for a long time after that.
