Thanks @joybringer1 & @jakeduck1 - necessity is the mother of invention, they say. I couldn't be at my Mom's 24/7 so I tried to figure stuff out to help her. It helped a lot that I participated in a lot of her early post-stroke PT & OT sessions, so I watched some of the clever strategies those angels used to make life easier. And my family cared for elder relatives and friends through my whole life, often with limited resources, so we had to make up solutions on the spot.
