Hi, everyone! I’m back but a lot slower. It is great to hear that everyone is still getting walk in! I haven’t done anything. My disease is back ( as I tried to tell the doctors months ago) so I have to start a new treatment. I so want to get out and walk somewhere! The problem is, the fires are so close so the air is terrible! We had 2 fires start on Sunday about 10 miles from us. Been an interesting few weeks.

@becsbuddy Im so sorry your disease is back I hope the new treatment will help . When the fires where so bad here in Ca. the smoke came from 50 miles away down the coastline . It was hard to see and those that had lung disease,s had a hard time of it . So you just stay put don't put anymore burden on your self then you already have . Walk in the house , I know big deal . Take care Linda

@becsbuddy You go! Do something active any day you can. Watch the air quality. I found with our nearby fires and smoke drift, seeing blue skies was not necessarily healthy. Walk your house, backwards for a different view. Maybe an inside mall? Take your little pooch with you for company when you can! Rest, then do again when you are able. We've missed you!

Hi Becky. Hoping you feel better soon. Good to have you back. Stay safe.

@becsbuddy, So glad you are back even if a lot slower! You did know some time back and it is frustrating when docs aren't listening. Hope the new treatment kicks in quickly and each day finds you feeling better.

Daughter told me yesterday that two more fires fairly near her in Boulder have broken out and now more haze and debris that travels to their neighborhood by winds is making it more difficult for her hikes and general air quality is much poorer. The earlier fire has yet to be completely put out and now more are popping up.

My walks have been greatly shortened from a sciatica nerve flare up and coupled with corporal tunnel from too much computer has now resulted in over a month of heating pads, topicals, Tylenol and hot baths. Discouraging and some walks are more purely symbolic for keeping to my goal than really providing the exercise and outing I'd like.

Hope our other walkers are making better strides and wishing all well and continued safety.
