@fiesty76. I hope you are feeling better. Sometimes you need to give your body time to heal. After my visit to my orthopedic doctor, I have been easing up on my walking as prescribed. Only 20 minutes a day, which is really hard because the weather is finally cooling down to the 80s. I am hoping to increase the time little by little. Take care!

@fiesty76 I had a nice away visit with a friend this past weekend so the next 2 days I just couldn't hardly get out of bed but did some stretching and used the resistance band feel much better today so will get back on track with my exercise and walking and it is much cooler her as mayofeb2020 stated

& @lioness
Take it slow & easy ladies! As I just informed my 30 yo PT yesterday, we can't necessarily do the same thing as a younger person, and healing is slower. He & I learn from each other, as I am pretty good at describing how my body responds to the exercises, so we can modify them.

Today I walked and ran with my grands tomorrow I'll get a longer one on my "day off"

@jude07, @bustrbrwn, @mayofeb2020, Thanks for reading and your responses. Another session with the acupuncturist yesterday I hope will speed the healing. Although the electrician installed the new breaker box on Friday and it is working well, a much less expensive replacement sensor light front porch fixture, despite repeated visits by his helper, including another fixture replacement yesterday still isn't. So frustrating because when I'm not feeling well, having a repairman at the house is less than joy producing.

Late yesterday just as I'd stepped into the tub for another hot Epsom salt soak, the doorbell and phone rang simultaneously. Oh, brother! Dried off, grabbed a robe and got to the door to find the porch light assistant standing there, ready for another attempted "fix". I was ready to fix him! lol Last night the sensor went on at sundown and stayed on....supposed to go off in 10 minutes. What's a girl to do?????

The $1,000 job is working; the $100+ isn't ...after three visits. Today the electrician himself gets a call to come. Buttt first, the roofer is coming at 8:30 a to see if the new roof installed 2 yrs ago needs replacing from the spring hail/wind storm and 11:00 a will find me at the dentist for two fillings on opposite sides.

At a follow-up call to the Reclast dept yesterday morning for my infusion appointment, I was told that ins. approved the Reclast but I still needed a blood lab before the appt. Why...didn't they tell me that when I had the Dexa scan...both done at same lab....Argggh! and needed done two days before Reclast. So I'll hit the lab at 7:15 a Friday morning for the bloodwork and hopefully call it a week!!!

Where's the bourbon and branch? margaritas? bloody Marys when needed????? Maybe a tub filled with those instead of Epsom Salts would be most beneficial???? Could just this once, a foot stomping Thursday vs walk be ok???? I'd be shaking my fist but my right one is too sore and the left one can't deliver the same punch. Smiles and wishes that your day today is uneventful.
