Who has been for a nice/pretty/energetic walk today? I walked wherever the dog let me go, only did 1 mile. I feel older than I am! Minnesota sounds beautiful but 14 months of winter! Aaaggghhhh. Colorado is so full of hiking/biking/walking trails that you have to be an outside person to survive here. I love it, though, the sun always shines!

@becsbuddy I have been walking everyday although my back and leg pain is getting worse. It's going to be in the 90s for the rest of the week so I have to walk earlier in the morning.

@becsbuddy
Good afternoon,
If taking out the garbage counts, I did.

@becsbuddy, I did take a short walk very early but we are back in the 100+ degrees for several days...really zaps all inclination to be out for anything after mid-morning. Everything is relative, right? vbg Duluth was by far the most severely and longest cold weather area I've lived in but my daughter's first winter in Boulder, CO has had her singing high praise of its being a much shorter and milder winter than those in Evanston, IL. I loved living in the Denver area for that first year of teaching and your state like MN has many beautiful areas to explore and enjoy. I was impressed by both Evanston and Boulder for the lack of wind on my visits...here it is a frequent detractor. Also being a sunshine gal, I welcome west TX for our mostly sunny days as well. Of course we pet owners know that they rule the roosts and Precious never listens to what I say but have you considered having a private talk with your 4 legger about some of your preferences for walks???? Might make you feel younger if you can wheedle some cooperation??? Smiles

Didn’t get my walk in however hauled and carried 24 bags of mulch and disturbed them in the last two days. I considered that my exercise. Back to walking tomorrow.
Not quite “14” months of winter her in the Land of 10,000 Lakes🤣😂however I won’t say I am looking forward to it anymore either. I am ready for a beautiful spot in the South come January.
However, the squirrels seem to have my stored away more nuts than I have $$$ to winter somewhere else. Hah!

@becsbuddy I am moving rocks from the side of the driveway to a empty area between chain link fence and sidewalk. Dumping them into three different buckets and hauling on the sled my husband rigged up. Does this count? My arms are getting stronger and my hip joints are getting more flexible as all I can do is bend over to grab these rocks and clean them somewhat before dumping them into the bucket. I am moving about nine buckets early every morning. I figure in the last 3 weeks about 3 tons of bricks and rocks, at least, have been moved. We are expecting record temps the next few days, up to 107, so I may take a few days off. It is about 90 outside at 5:15pm now.
