@fiesty76. What an adventure! Almost like Alice in Wonderland! I remember the first time I went out to Trader Joe's. I cased the parking lot to see how many cars were there first. Fully masked up and gloves on my hands, I clutched my shopping list like it was my mother's pearls. I called the store to find out when is a good time to go, even though I went at senior hour, I saw some who are obviously younger. It was high anxiety for me. Some of my grocery stores like Ralph's and Sprouts have curb side pick up. You order what you want online, drive to the store, text them at designated parking space. Then you pop the trunk and they load the grocery in. No muss no fuss. Do any of your stores do that?
I hope you have recovered by now, looking forward to hearing about your next trip. Hugs!

@mayofeb, How did you guess? My first name is "Alice" and our Jr. English teacher required us to write an autobiography. I used "wonderland" quotations to preface each of my chapters and still have that gingham bound album with a cover photo dressed also in gingham among my keepsakes.

Loved your description of clutching that shopping list like your mother's precious pearls...I can sooo relate! lol

Yes, Sprouts is a favorite mkt for fresh veggies, fruits, meats, fish, seafood and nuts. They did start a delivery service after I'd started using another regionally owned local supermarket which offered more of my favorite brands of other foodstuffs so I've continued with that one. We don't have a Ralph's but understand that WalMart, Sams and Costco here also offer curbside service.

Since I'm in the absolute minority by still using a primitive "flip phone", my ordering choices are more limited. Nope, still limp as a soggy stick of celery but thanks for asking! Think I'm up for making a smoothie and then looking for another easy dinner tonight. Take care and thanks for responding.
