@pollyanne

@patriciao I think you are right. It is a good thing with the present situation, although I haven't contributed much lately. I have so many people all over the world that I have to keep in touch with and so I had to cut back a bit on this page. However, I am still here and I am off for my walk in a minute. I have had to be careful with my bad knee recently and the pain keeps moving around. I know it is from my knee but I think if I avoid anything that twists or pulls my knee the wrong way I can still walk. I am being extra careful with my stretches. Also my right arm is getting very bad. It is 7 months since I had a cortisone injection, and a long time since I saw my therapist who helps my arm and my back. I am falling apart all over my body! But I think it is important to keep moving!

Sorry to hear you are having pain. You are so right though, we have to keep
moving.

@pollyanne @becsbuddy I too, although I do not participate a lot in the walking group, think the contact can keep us motivated.
We are walking primarily at the HS track since it is flat and the hills on our street bother my hip. I took this picture and told my son and daughter that the sign was to welcome us "seniors" - of course, I knew it was for members of the senior class, but I like to kid them.

I'm sorry to hear your knee and arm are hurting. You are smart to keep moving I think, but if there really is a lot of pain you might want to check with your doctor to make sure you are not doing more damage. I was about to have a cortisone injection in my hip before the world changed so now I am really hoping the time will come soon when I can.
