For the last seven years, I would do pool walking two hours every day. But a year ago, I developed an ulcer on my tailbone and it got severely infected with three types of bacteria and I couldn’t go back into the pool. I can’t walk at all except in the pool where the water holds me up when I get in up to my neck. I push myself forward with my arms and my feet follow along. It was a great exercise, but I haven’t been able to go back into the pool because my ulcer has not healed. It’s been over a year now that I have been going to my wound care doctor. Of course, the pool has been closed to everyone because of the virus.

@jane, What a bummer that your pool time had to cease because of the ulcer. My nephew also developed slow-to-heal ulcers but his wound treatments eventually healed them Have you created much stronger upper body strength? He was a large man, not overweight, just large boned. He upper body strength became pretty amazing over time after his injury.
