@lioness Always remember, you can modify to suit your abilities. You can stop and take a breather, or do something slower or make whatever modifications you need.
By the way, odd as it seems, here in NH we had a great day today in the 60s. It started out sunny but was overcast by afternoon. We did get a good walk in though.
@becsbuddy My son and his wife in Denver did get a walk in today. I believe he mentioned they did have some snow there also, but probably less than you got.

@pollyanne Way to make us envious, the 70s in Maui! I said to my husband last night, let's move to Hawaii. I would love to but it would cut down on how often we see our kids even more, plus the cost of living there is pretty darned high. Do they give residents a break in the grocery stores? I couldn't believe how much bread was, and water too.
I too would be worried about my daughter if she had been exposed to someone who came down with COVID the next day. Please let us know how she is doing. Hopefully she will not get it, and if she does, hopefully it will be a mild case.
I am also in dire need of a manicure and pedicure, and to have my bangs trimmed. At least I can sweep them back.

@gingerw When we took our walk today there were many mailboxes with little handmade Easter decorations on them like colored drawings of eggs, and a number of driveways with Easter greetings in chalk. This is really a nice neighborhood. I am appreciating it more since we started walking it. Before we became homebound I did all of my exercise at my health club, including walking on a treadmill. I don't know many people in the neighborhood anymore, most of the people our ages who had children of similar ages have moved away so now there are younger couples with children.

@contentandwell I know I am lucky living in Maui and yes it is very expensive. They don't give residents many breaks. Costco is always our best bet..
I do miss my family and my one teenage granddaughter. She texted me great murals that she has painted on her bedroom wall. She is such a talented artist and I had a lot of joy looking at those.
But on the other side, I was really alarmed today to read we have 44 new cases of the virus on Maui in the last couple of days and all from health workers at the local hospital. This makes me wonder if they have been trained how to use the PPE . It involves 195 people who could be infected including lots of regular patients who are now home and think how many they could have infected. I feel very frustrated by this news. Until 2 days ago we had about 23 active cases. What do you think about that?
