True, Maui doesn't have the numbers that the big cities have but that is when they need to be diligent to stop it spreading. We don't have as many stores either and not much delivery service available. Honolulu had 175 cases a few days ago, but it is not as big a city as a lot. Then again look how fast those numbers doubled and tripled in other places. My husband has been shopping a couple of times in the evening but he shouldn't be going at all. He is 87 and gets pneumonia easily. He is also very stubborn and won't let me go instead. It's not worth the argument. He likes to think he is still young!

Men get restless quicker then women. Your husband has a good attitude thinking he is still young.
But he needs to remember pneumonia is a serious disease, and can leave scar tissue on the lungs.
Maybe he can drive you to the market, you go in the market, and have him stay in the car. Better safe then sorry.
My late husband had multiple cases of pneumonia,so I understand your concern for his wellbeing.
Take care
