@pollyanne There are several different patterns on the internt right now. I have used the one posted by Deaconess Hospital most. Either using elastic as they show, or sewing double fold bias tape as ties across top and bottom. There is also a pattern on You Tube by sewing academy that is elastics straps around your head. The problem I have with wearing any mask is fogging up my glasses! Our county has a "sewing warriors" group, we are making 1000 masks a week ;))

@gingerw Are you sewing these masks by hand or using a sewing machine.?

@gingerw. Are these masks for the general population or for healthcare workers? It has been shown that countries with the highest number of mask wearers have had the most success in fighting the virus. I can understand the medical community wants the front line to have priority but regular people need protection too.
