My son wanted to get me an Apple watch, but since I am technology challenged, and I'm so used to my android phone I will probably decline. I know Apple watch has alot of great features.

@Erinmfs A lot of the reason I bought it was for the alarm! I had a Misfit tracker before (not to be confused with Fitbit) that finally pretty much died. It was a heck of a lot less expensive than the Apple but I actually think it was a better tracker. The model I had was their original and no longer made.
My son decided the Apple did not track things as well as he would like so he bought a Garmin for about twice the cost! Oh, to be young and have that kind of money to spare! It is supposed to be a superior tracker though, for serious fitness types. My audiologist has one too, she runs marathons.

@mayofeb2020 The Apple watch is incredibly user friendly. I was amazed at how intuitive it is.
