@Erinmfs Whenever I do an outdoor walk my Apple watch has the right start time and stop time, but for some reason only says I walked far fewer minutes than I did. Yesterday I walked for 21 minutes but it said only 7 minutes of exercise! I would have walked further but it was cold here and my fingers were like ice cubes despite wearing gloves, plus that was all my husband could handle.

I'm so jealous, an Apple Watch! I have an Android phone and that the Samsung Health app.

@contentandwell I’m not positive about this, but I think the exercise minutes recorded may be tied to heart rate. I’ve noticed the same thing with my Apple Watch. If I take a leisurely walk, it doesn’t record the minutes either. If it’s a brisk walk, it records them. Just assuming I have to walk quickly enough to get my heart rate up. If anyone knows if this is how it works, I would like to know. Thanks
