@becsbuddy

To all the “walkercizers”. I’m not such a good do—er in this walking group! I’m having a terrible time getting out for my walks! I blame it on reducing my steroids again. I can barely stay awake. But, no excuses. So I’ve walked every day and then collapse after! But I admire all of you for getting out there!

@becsbuddy Don't push yourself you can always make up for it later 🤣

@becsbuddy- I didn't even get out to walk. I've been besieged by migraines. My medicine takes a while to kick in and then I'm so relieved and tired I need to lie down too. But today looks brighter! Have you talked to your doctor about why you are so fatigued by decreasing your steroids? Or do you know?

@becsbuddy Which steroid are you on? I am on 5mg of prednisone, daily, but I had no idea that reducing that would make me more tired than I already am. I really hate being on it and I keep asking my transplant team when I can come off of it but I suspect it's going to be never.
I went to my health club today and did pool jogging, yesterday I did the gym. I am really beginning to wonder if I should continue to go to the gym. I am very careful, wiping down the equipment both before and after I use it, and I am not very close to others there. It very rarely is crowded, generally only has a few other people at the most when I am there, sometimes only one other! It's a tough decision.

Last night when we were watching the news there was a doctor on who was not Italian but apparently has been involved with things there. He said since there are not enough resources to treat everyone they are having to choose who to treat and since the older people have less time to live they get treated last! That's not a good feeling at all.
