Folic acid supplement

I had stage one triple negative breast cancer last year. My treatment was lumpectomy followed by radiation. At my survivorship appointment I was told to take Vitamin D for immunity. However, I am wondering if I should stop my folic acid supplement. I eat healthy anyway and am wondering if too much folate is a bad idea. Thanks!

If you are worried about excess folate, ask your doctor to have your folate level tested. (It's just a simple blood test.)
