I appreciate all the information and shared experiences. At age 82, I don't have forever to make up my mind, but thanks to you, I'll be better prepared to make a decision.

@luftmensh1 I am also considering the surgery for bladder prolapse since I have too many UTIs and gynecologist says pessary could be the reason. I am 85 and not too eager for general anesthesia at my age. I am seeing a urogynocologist recommended by my gyn. Trying to inform myself about this surgery.
