Hi
Gabapentin has been pushed on my for some time. I've been on and off ot for years will little effectiveness. The side effects are numerous. That being said it may work for you and be worth the risk.

Gabapentin is the only prescription drug I take and if I had a choice I would not. I think I should probably be taking a larger dose but prefer to try to keep it at the lowest dose possible. I have found that taking an nsaid along with it helps although I can’t do it too often because it causes extreme vertigo for me upon awakening. The side effects from gabapentin are numerous, I’ll never understand why the drug co.’s can’t come up with a better solution.
