@windwalker Terri, I suspect that you are right, but I think I'm maxed out on devices and things I need to worry about keeping clean. So I think I'll just have to keep flossing .

Hello Sue, I quit waterpiking and went back to flossing as well. BUT it seems to me that if you buy a new waterpik unit and ONLY put in boiled water then MAC has no way to get established so it should not be necessary to take special measures to kill it. Boiling water is just too much trouble for me hence back to flossing. Bill
