Darlington, How are you finding the increase in protein? Has it helped with healing the wound? Do you find some proteins are better than others for you?

I just started to increase my proteins, but I don’t do it every day. I’ll know more when I see my wound doctor next week. I added B vitamins to my diet because I only eat once a day and I need to make sure that I am getting a balanced diet. I eat a lot of shellfish because I love it and it has a lot of good vitamins and minerals. Plus it is low fat. I live in a wheelchair and I need to keep my weight at a healthy level. I weigh 120 pounds and that is the max for me. I have been going to an infusion center and get an IV every day to fight the infection. It has worked so far. Now I need this ulcer to heal.
