Hello I was diagnosed with NDPH two months ago, I remember the day that my headache began accompanied by photophobia dizziness and visions borroza, I have taken tegretol, sumatriptan fluonarizine, tizanidine, luvox, sertraline, clonazepan. Nothing has helped me, just going on a trip and the days after returning from the trip, the pain returned for a month. Already two neurologists have diagnosed me, the last one prescribed me pregabaline 75mg, magnesium and calcium. Im having suicidal thoughts since I feel I cant live with this, I have fear of having these for a long period or for my whole life. Thins thing have changed my life.

Hi Andrea, I'm so sorry for not responding sooner. I haven't been active on this site for years and didn't see your comment earlier. How are you doing? Have you sought help from mental health professionals? NDPH sucks, for sure. It has definitely taken a toll on every area of my life, but with A LOT of help, I've learned over the years how to manage. Some days are bad and others are really bad, but after nearly 13 years, I'm still trying every day to make a life, to enjoy something, to find contentment or happiness. I don't know if you are a spiritual person, but there's a scripture in Ecclesiastes that really helps me in the dark times when I ask God all the "why" questions. Ecclesiastes 9:4 (NIV) Anyone who is among the living has hope —even a live dog is better off than a dead lion! Today may be awful and unbearable, but tomorrow is a new day with new possibilities. I hope you've found some help and even a treatment that works to help you manage. Please rely back and let us know how you are doing.
