@msstoppainnagginme, @rwinney, Good morning rays of sunshine. It sounds like you are both becoming dosage strength and strain experts. Quite the process and as soon as you think you have it....your body lets you know that it has now adjusted to your current dose and you need to change it in some way to get back the results you had before.
Regarding the strain issue...Sativa, Indica and Hybrid, many of the manufacturers are not making strain-specific products anymore for medical cannabis. I started there 5 years ago because all the products were strain specific. I usually chose Indica if available or Hybrid. I was afraid of Sativa. You can check out Care By Design as a pretty good discussion of strains.
Other products like topicals were made by someone in their backyard.....just like you are doing Rachel to make your topicals. They were available in small plastic containers like you get with a salad at the diner. There were no labels or instructions. You just had to trust the maker. I think a small one was $10 and the larger one was $40. There was an attempt at product consistency but who knows?
Now with regulations that come with legalization, the products are safer and more effective.

Have a great holiday week.......go slowly.....be safe and secure......Chris
Hey, thanks for the wealth of knowledge. Don't know how you keep it all straight. Confusing to me still. I'm just glad to be with a pharmacist that is guiding me and there for every question I have to help me fine tune and advance. I jumped the 20:1 thc/cbd from 0.4 ml to 0.5 ml and that proved to stop me in my tracks....space out, slow, exhausted, heard a bee buzz by my ear. Not cool! So, brought dose back down for now. I understand I takes time and is a process. I'm glad you find your relief and I enjoy reading your posts. Thanks again! Be well.
