Hello @robtlhughes, You will notice we moved your post to an existing discussion on supplements in the Neuropathy group. If you click the VIEW & REPLY button it will take you to this reply to your post in the discussion Supplement recommendations: What can help neuropathy?.

I take active form of Alpha Lipoic Acid (R-ALA) as I'm sure others also take to help with their neuropathy. I have never tried Two Old Goats products but I have my doubts since what I get from reading their website is they are a proprietary blend of several different essential oils. I tried mixing my own essential oils early on in my experimenting to see if it would help me and I didn't find that it gave my numbness any relief. It may help for pain but I would have to leave that for someone else to share their experience. You might want to read my post above which talks about the 2 versions of Alpha Lipoic Acid (S-ALA and R-ALA). Do you use any kind of lotion on your legs at night now?

Many thanks for getting me in the right place and sharing your take. No, I don't use anything now, but I'll give Two Old Goats a try and report back after Amazon gets it here. Thanks again.

Hello @robtlhughes, John and others, my Neurologist told me to use the S and R Alpha Lipoic Acid. I found,"Simply Nature's Pure" brand that has both the R and S types in it, on Amazon. I can't really tell if it's working since I have so many types of pain including a variety of burning and stinging pain. I think it's working some. I take 600 mg. daily.

Warmest wishes, Sunnyflower

I use Mary Jane's salve . It is 70 % thc and 30 % cbd . I mix it with magnesium lotion . I put it on my feet before I go to bed. It stops the tingling and burning .
