I understand what you are saying, @contentandwell. I don't have the same immune problems you do, but I'm very hesitant to go into a hot tub. I love a dry sauna, however, I can't stay in too long.

Some years ago when I was in pretty good health, I went to a business meeting with my husband and used the hot tub twice a day for my arthritis. I foolishly did some exercise in the tub, as no one else was there. A month later I went to the doctor and had very high blood pressure. This began my journey to improve my BP. I am still working on it, but believe reducing stress is the first step. Now I only get in the hot tub to the top of my knees and I don't stay very long. I haven't had the opportunity for that lately. I have a deep whirlpool tub in my home but can't get out of it and have no room for grab handles because of the bay window. Poor planning. Dorisena

@hopeful33250 The heat control for the sauna is right there at the door. I can only tolerate in the 6:00 position - it goes up to 9:00. If someone comes in after me and has hiked it up, I'm "outta there".
