Hi @dcavasos, Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I am be no means an expert and have no medical background but I think it might be a little different for each of us. I try to start off slow and not exercise until it hurts. I think as we get older we need to build up and take things a little slower. I think riding a bike and/or lunges with weights can be good but it might be a good idea to discuss it with your doctor if you have any physical ailments.
