@darlingtondoll Im sorry to hear you have an ulcer . Is anyone helping you with it in cleaning it is it open when I was working early in the 60,s I use to have to clean the bedsores and we applied just plain sugar after the cleaning I know this is out of date now but that was the ritual then . Bless you you have a lot of problems . But you have a humor to you haven't lost . Good for you take care

I see my wound care doctor every Thursday. My ulcer is no longer down to the fatty layer and it is not deep. Every time it gets almost healed, it opens up again. I have a special dressing on it with some Prisma wound dressing directly on the wound. Then I dress it with a special silicone 4”x4” pad. The wound weeps a lot but it is not infected.
