Coleen, Regarding the video and article from @hlaasdan, I'm thinking 3 years out and new technology and techniques such as in the article, do you know if the cochlear implant surgery can be redone when the recipient receives an upgraded processor?

I do not know, @alice44. I'm hoping someone else with first-hand experience with Cochlear implants will jump in with info. Have you talked your specialist about it?

You can upgrade just with the external processor. Are you asking if you could also upgrade the interior part of the CI?
