@lorirenee1, kansas girl, et al: there was a very informative enlightening article in the 1/21 issue of “Wired” magazine which I read online. It explains the stigma and negativity associated with the drug and also the benefits of the plant which is soon to be legalized in one of the Asian countries in which it is grown and has been used for centuries for medicinal reasons.

@kansasgal I would buy their smallest packet of Maeng Da. It is a 1 ounce packet, if I remember their smallest packet amount. But you will be correct in buying the smallest packet size they offer. That way, you won't lose too much money if you do not like it. Remember too, that sometimes the wrong Kratom may not work for pain at all. If one does not work, try another. But from Happy Hippos SLOW strains. I would start at about 2 grams, and work up if needs. Use the least to get rid of pain. You will find your "sweet spot" in the amount that works for you. I usually take 4 to 5 grams per each time I use it. Mix in water, and swallow as fast as you can. In about 15 minutes or so, pain will go away. Good luck....Lori Renee

Kansas girl....I will check it out. Thanks, Lori
