If your hearing aids have telecoils, I strongly recommend trying the Williams Sound Pocker Talker with a neckloop. It costs far less than other streaming devices. It works well in noisy settings. It is used in many hospitals with hard of hearing patients. If telecoils are not in your personal hearing devices, it can be used with headphones or ear buds.
Of course some of the BlueTooth streamers are terrific, but most of them cost plenty, as in well over $1000. The Pocket Talker is about $150. A neckloop costs $60. Neckloops can be plugged into any audio device. Phone, radio, computer, etc. The trick is to bring the sound directly to the ear while bypassing the ambient noise.
I just ordered a new neckloop. I have 2 others. Keeping one with my computer, one in my purse and one in safe keeping makes sense to me. I use them on Zoom conferences, and seem to be zooming a lot these days! 🙂
