I also took omeprazole for many years but not as long as you. I stopped it about 4 months ago but I still have the high enzymes. I take another blood test in a month to see if it has gone up or down. I had a endoscopy at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix & all the ducts were ok so they are puzzled. I don't drink & I;m not a diabetic . Do you have burning in your stomach area. I get that a lot.
