I can drink unsweetened silk almond milk too. I switched from skim milk to this.
I put it in my coffee (healthwise low acid) and this should neutralize it totally.
I can also have blueberries as long as I neutralize them in a blender with almond milk.
I can't wait to try that smoothie from the book. Grace and peace, have you tried the smoothies?

I have not tried the smoothie. I was already being helped by another acid diet that I was on, plus, I have other diet restrictions that I have to follow due to my IBS-C&D, and pelvic floor dysfunction, so I had just bought this book for my Mom who also suffers with BE (although since she started this book, as you also found out, she is not having any more symptoms as of yet; hopefully it stays that way for you both!). She has not tried the smoothie yet. Let me know how it is; I might be able to try that one myself. I can only have a certain amount of almond milk and only a certain amount of an unripened banana, bc of the IBS.
