I've had roux n y in sept 2016. Approx a month later came the strictures. 7 balloon endoscopes and a temporary stent solved that problem
Then adhesions caused multiple obstructions and multiple surgeries to remove adhesions and multiple intestinal resections
The symptoms to watch for are bloating Nausa uncontrolled salivating followed by dry heaving If that happens, get to dr asap
As the next thing is total obstruction. Hope this helps you and good luck

Can I ask if they have resolved this for you? I’m going on my 4 th balloon procedure and after this on they want to do one more then the stint . I’m at a loss here and if this common . Why are the Doctors not telling me. About the risk? I have a second opinion and it’s the same do the balloon procedure then the stint. I have been dealing with this ever since I had my bypass in January to fix the obstruction. Now I’m on a TPN 14 hours a day hydration 2 hours twice weekly. And I’m hungry all the time. I eat it gets stuck in my chest cavity and hurts until I vomit lasting 1 hour to 5 hours. I can’t work I’m getting no financial support. And just more procedures. Please tell me there is a solution.
