Why would Gapapentin be restricted? It is not a narcotic. I have never found it to make me "High" or whatever.

My thoughts exactly. There is no reason to put this in the same category as a narcotic.

The justification to reclassify Neurontin is thanks to the drug addicts and people who want to misuse it and intensify the effects of some other medications. There has been in increase in deaths in people abusing Neurontin. It’s to bad they cause such grief for those who legitimately take it as it’s prescribed.
