Hi, @catro - sounds like a significant discovery for your neuropathy if you've discovered certain foods - tomatoes and other nightshade plants, monk fruit-sweetened creamer in your coffee, and possibly gluten and dairy - can cause a reaction. Wondering if @rwinney @iceblue @cncwi17 @avmcbellar @retiredteacher have any input on whether similar foods have caused a neuropathic reaction for them.

How are you finding going off some of these foods, @catro?

Hi @lisalucier, I don’t know what happened. For months I stopped receiving email chats from the mayo clinic until yesterday. I did discover through trial and error that high acidic foods cause a burning sensation in my stomach and esophagus. Can’t tell yet if it has any effect on my neuropathy to left leg. I am still experimenting. I counteract alkaline foods with acidic foods for any meals.

@lisalucier @catro My endo has decided I don't have neuropathy. I eat tomatoes daily and use Truvia in my morning coffee. I can't tell any difference in any foods I eat causing problems except with my diabetes. That is my main concern now as the numbers are too high, and foods don't seem to make a difference. So, I'm trying to get that under control.
