I don't eat any chocolate, haven't since the eighties, don't miss it. It's basically fat and sugar with some caffeine ... skimpy in nutrients. Peggy

That’s a long time for no chocolate. It is found in many foods. So difficult to go without. I was wondering why my foot pain felt better when I realized I had no caffeine for two days. After indulging in the hot tea and chocolate brownie protein bar yesterday, my left foot pain started up again. I thought it was a healthy choice. I know caffeine can make the pain worse but I didn’t know how much was needed to excite the nerve cells. I guess no more hot chocolate for me either. Chocolate may have good health benefits but a person must pick and choose what is more important to them. Won’t hurt to test what is good or bad for our health. Everyone is different.

Chocolate actually has nutrients in the form of poly phenols with antioxidant activity.
