@mcmurf2 That’s great that you are moving forward and have appointments, but probably agonizing to have to wait so long. When my cirrhosis was discovered and I called Mass General to get an appointment it was also a couple of months out but I had them put me on the “wait list” and ended up getting in much sooner. I presume Mayo must do wait lists also, make sure you are on it, and if you do, just to make sure you don’t fall through the cracks give them a call every now and then to see if anything sooner has opened up.
Recently I made an appointment with a local doctor and I was supposedly put on the wait list, but being in agony I called to see if he could possibly see me sooner. He had two openings and I had not been called!
