I stopped my ECT treatments, they effected my short term memory real bad. Where I forgot to pay the bills and clean the house, they effect all of my short term memory. I could not remember what I did from minute to minute.

Hello @mrser52,

I appreciate the update on your ECT treatments. At Connect, we learn from each other and you have provided the members of Connect with an interesting experience in treating Bipolar disorder.
How many ECT treatments did you have before you began to notice the short-term memory loss? Did your doctor feel that some of that memory problem would be restored after discontinuing treatment?
Also, just wondering, and only share as you are comfortable doing so, do you feel that the treatments you had helped with your bipolar disorder?
