Have any of you tried or still use any of the nerve pills out there. I'm talking about,, nerve renu,,,, nerve align ,, protocol, etc There are so many different ones out there. It's overwhelming..I take a lot of supplements that are listed in these products, but not the product itself. Please tell if you use any of these and have they helped you like the adds say they will ???

I have a apt next week for a medical massage and get the myfascial release... I have had pt many times with dr. referral and no one has ever done any type of massage on me..I was wondering do you go often??.. Will I tell any difference with this one time?? It's sort of expensive but I am praying it helps in some ways.

Hi. I’ve had 3 MFR sessions and I have had such a great experience. Each time I go my therapist has worked on different areas, once laying in my back, the other on my stomach, finding that fascia wraps all around your entire body. So it needs work all over. I have now left my appt feeling better than when I arrived 2 of the 3 times. For the most part, my neuropathy in my feet has been reduced by 75-85 percent, on lower doses of gabapentum on certain days, still need my opiates and diazepam for spasms, but the $ 80-100 each session is worth a day or more of feeling pain free. I get a discount if I sign up for 3 sessions at a time. Every little discount helps. So figure out a way and scrape up the $$$ and get into MFR. Ask if any discounts. Maybe a Groupon spcl. Most likely you will need more than 1 treatment, plus self treatments at home in between sessions, which are very helpful as well. Good luck and we all on this discussion look forward to hearing how it goes. Mitch

I used one for 6 months, having a biopsy done to check for nerve fibers and I actually got worse. i don't think it caused this, but it sure didn't help.

@peggyn - how did the medical massage and the myofascial release go?

I had to cancel the apt. A good friend got real sick and needed me and then my sister showed up for a visit. I have been out od pocket, but plan to make a new apt. I will let you know how it goes.

@silverapple - Thanks again for a private message. I chose to answer it in this discussion that is about Nerve Renew and other over the counter (OTC) supplements. It's better to ask your questions in a discussion so that members who have experience can share it with you. Here's a link to a post earlier in this discussion with my thoughts on Nerve Renew and other products - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/268624/
