@jammer Yay!! I am so happy that you are going to Mayo! My doctor, Dr. Leventhal is retiring next month (sad face) and he has been grooming his replacement, Dr. Johnson. She has won medical awards and is really into her specialty of mac & bronchiectasis. What Ihave loved about my dr is that he uses unconventional treatment with great results. I have been mac-free since 2014 without going on the Big 3. That conversion happened after having been desparately ill for about 10 yrs. I was on the verge of needing a double lung transplant. I feel normal and whole now. I owe my life to Mayo. I hope that your experience there will be as wonderful as mine. Please keep me posted. Good luck!

@windwalker Can I ask what your treatment was that was so successful for you, which is great by the way!

I tried getting into Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and they called me yesterday and told me they could not take any new patients with COPD, Bronchiectasis and Mac. I was so disappointed because I really wanted another opinion before starting the Big 3. Do you have any advise?
