Yes, good thought, @bookysue. Depression has been in my family as well for a number of generations. It probably represents both learned behaviors as well as some genetic predisposition.

Does the evolution process means that the learned behavior becomes the trait / genetic issue
Sorry I could not resist.
But I do feel both learned behaviors and genetic predisposition as part of us does becoming more likely with 2 generations of family having depression in their lives. Domino effect .
Things get really dark ( my mom attempted a number of times- do not want to use the word) but critters and books get me out of there. That is why I cannot figure people who have done it who seemed to have everything in their lives. Scary
