@bookysue an interesting question you posed today! Speaking with my sister yesterday she disclosed to me that she had been going through some counseling recently due to depressive issues. She is a retired registered nurse, and said she realize that a lot of the things I was speaking to her about was something she had in common so she sought help!. I know our mother had depression and some other challenges mentally. I have my own depression issues and adult diagnosed autism. My little sister has demonstrated some signs of mental instability that has precluded her from maintaining solid job history. Don't know much about Grandparents or aunts and uncles. Like I said before we accepted everything growing up as what was normal not realizing it really wasn't.

Interesting- with these issues in mind, not everything is in your control except how you handle things. What I had to learn is to forgive myself more but to not let family issues indicate how I handle my life.. I realize as we all do that things can seem like beyond our control. But that is when we figure what it is that is undermining us. Money issues- get help as I am - tax rebates/ cuts- Medicaid - work issues- learn to not hear the unimportant stuff and not let get in your way. Life issues- need more music in my life/read more/ less dinner outings, wandering weekends ; I am feeling better for this
And if there are folks- family- friends who is hurting you- let them go- or depression and health issues increases as time goes on. I have seen this . It seems like a lot of folks have toxic people in their lives. No one should hurts your 80 percent or more.
Certain kinds of depression are seasonal- worse in winter- better in warmer months- dosages May need to be adjusted. Stuff I
Learned. Still a long way to go in knowledge and in acceptance.
