How many of you see family history of depression? And to add injury so to speak I had to be born with issues( misdiagnosed mentally challenged and aphasiac before 16 and hearing impaired after 16)

@bookysue an interesting question you posed today! Speaking with my sister yesterday she disclosed to me that she had been going through some counseling recently due to depressive issues. She is a retired registered nurse, and said she realize that a lot of the things I was speaking to her about was something she had in common so she sought help!. I know our mother had depression and some other challenges mentally. I have my own depression issues and adult diagnosed autism. My little sister has demonstrated some signs of mental instability that has precluded her from maintaining solid job history. Don't know much about Grandparents or aunts and uncles. Like I said before we accepted everything growing up as what was normal not realizing it really wasn't.

Yes, good thought, @bookysue. Depression has been in my family as well for a number of generations. It probably represents both learned behaviors as well as some genetic predisposition.
