Check into compression Syndromes. There are several out there.
Have similar feelings for a long while then broke out with singles. Singles gone but upper abdominal discomfort now worse
I had all tests octreatide scan for carcinoid tumor, 24 urine test , blood test, abdominal ct with contrast, abdomen mri, hida scan showed gallbladder 95% ejection fraction. I had gallbladder removed still have upper abdominal pain if not worse. Facial flushing, bloodshot irritated eyes etc. Thyroid med not absorbing. Could have rosecea...
I agree with @astaingegerdm bc that's what I was going to ask as well.... What kind of specialists or Drs are seeing you for all of this? Definitely sounds like nerves and muscle from what you described - maybe osteopathic, neurologist, or even rheumatologist can sometimes get to the bottom of these mysteries, if you already have a good GI and Internist who aren't sure where else to go for you.
