My life partner is a constant daily walker. She loves to get her 10,000 steps in. So I go with her even though I sometimes don’t want to. Attitude is changed when I go and enjoy the scenery and my body reacting to moving and restoring a balance throughout the walk. We talk about the day and upcoming events and sometimes just listen to birds singing. Go outside, it’s good for the spirit.

@stsopoci Spending time outdoors is great for the spirit. Thanks for reminding us of that!

Here is an article from the National Insitute of Health about the value of spending time outdoors,

Hi. I want to go for a walk but my emotional state and mind don’t let me. I feel so very depressed, angry, frustrated, frightened, anxious, confused and I just can’t go.
