You talked about learning to take baby steps toward self-care rather than huge, unreasonable leaps that are impossible to achieve. Sounds like an important lesson. Have you had experience with taking too big of a leap with self-care that didn't work out?

That's a great idea, @christinelouise. @lisalucier, for me, absolutely. A year ago, I was exercising 4-5 times a week. I started traveling, and wasn't able to maintain that due to not having access to a gym and reshuffling my priorities. Going from exercising 0 times in the week to 4-5 times was going to be a process in terms of personal discipline and bodily adjustment. Setting a reasonable goal for myself to get back into exercising as a routine was what I needed!
