Has anyone tried Scrambler Therapy for neuropathy or for pain?
I have read about this device and I’m hoping someone can attest to its effectiveness for idiopathic neuropathy. I've read success stories and information online. Apparently insurance does not cover treatments, to the tune of $250 for the customary recommended 10 consecutive weekdays.

@lorirenee1 yes, absolutely I'd love to know as well! Lweave2 😊🌹
😟😥
@lweave2 I just wrote a post that is close by here about my experiences with Calmare Therapy. All in all, it did not work for me, and is generally not covered by insurance. LoriRenee1
Thanks for the info 👱♀️
Can Anyone tell me if the Mayo Clinic in Rochester is still offering this therapy? (someone told me that they weren't) Thanks!
Hello @minnesotadave, Welcome to Connect. Scrambler therapy is listed as one of the pain medicine - tests and procedures but it also says not all procedures are available at each location. The easiest way to find out is to call for an appointment. If you click the make an appointment link, it has the telephone number for each location where you can call and ask if they offer the scrambler therapy.

Are you able to share a little more about your diagnosis and symptoms?
@minnesotadave Hi Dave, I had Scrambler Therapy. The first 10 sessions helped lower my nerve pain considerably, but it returned in about 3 weeks. I had another 10 treatments, and they did not help at all. I had it done in Illinois at Spero Pain clinic, and learned there, that Mayo Clinic mostly used the Scrambler Therapy for studies, and really are not even the best to do that treatment. If you want to know where to do your Scrambler Therapy, talk to Norm Black at the Spero Pain Clinic in Illinois. He is really a guru in using Scrambler therapy, and knows who to go to. He even has people travel to him, just to have him do it. They stay in close by hotels, and come to him. I met 2 people at the Spero Clinic who had significant success using the scrambler, and come back for treatments with Norm, regularly. My best to you. Some people do get great relief with Scrambler. You can go to the Spero site on line, and message Norm. He will get back to you. He is just a doll. My best to you, LoriRenee1
Thank, Lori!
@minnesotadave No problem, Dave. Talk to Norm Black. They guy is a kindhearted, wonderful man. People come from all over to get his scrambler treatments. He also has great connections/knowledge as to where you should go. My best to you, Lori
Has anyone heard of Scrambler Therapy for acute neuropathy?
