Bladder lift surgery (Prolapse repair)

Hi @reene29 and welcome to Connect. I have had problems for quite a while but generally not quite as severe as you describe. I have gone for pelvic floor PT, and taken Trospium which helps somewhat. I am considering botox because that is supposed to help quite a bit.

I have much better control than I did have, but I know how tough it can be to have little or no control. I still have to get up numerous times during the night but for some odd reason when I get up in the morning I sometimes do not make it to the bathroom before it is gushing out of me. To make matters worse for me, I have to drink 80 - 100 ounces of fluid a day to keep my kidneys happy, so I do go a lot. If you had a "bladder lift" (I presume that is the surgery where they do something to help with this) and that was successful for a long time then it sounds as if something has happened to what they did. Have you returned to the doctor who did the surgery, or to another urologist of urogynecologist? It sounds as if you need to do that.

I hope your doctor will be able to help you with this. It really is difficult to live a normal life when you have these problems.

Thank you for your response. Yes this does effect normal living. I will be contacting another urologist. Just in two days has gone so bad.
