Hi, @lenzo - welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Since you titled your post "Hip Surgery" and it would be good to connect you with some of the members who have had or will have total hip replacement, I've moved your post over to the Joint Replacements group and also given it a relationship to the Neuropathy group so those members can also join in.
I'd like to invite @contentandwell @debbraw @johnbishop @teemarie @popolopo @khalt into this conversation to help support you and also see if they may know other Connect members who have had total hip replacement and also have peripheral neuropathy to see how things went post-surgery.
@lenzo, I'm guessing you or someone you care about has peripheral neuropathy and had or is going to have a total hip replacement?

Thank you for welcoming me to the group. And thank you for passing my message along to the joint replacement and neuropathy groups. Yes, I will be having my hip replacement done next month in Mid May. I guess its not unusual to be a little fearful of a major surgery with my disadvantage of existing idiopathic peripheral neuropathy going in. Was just hoping to get some guidance from some others who have had similar issues. Thank you again for your help.
