Getting both knees done...

I applaud your courage, but that seems too soon for me. I haven't recovered my stamina from the first one and it's such a Herculean endeavor to get through the first 4 weeks, I don't feel I'm ready to do that again. I had my first one on Jan 8 and have resumed a somewhat normal life, but with limitation and pain and fatigue. I think the soonest to do the other would be June or July. I'm just too tired now. I get out shopping and after 1 hour I suddenly have to leave. No stamina for walking-related stuff. Think I'll go walk in the pool, as was recommended to my by several people.

I totally understand! I found a big improvement about week 6- hope you do too. The fatigue part has passed for me too so it’s going to get better for you!

I booked a very cool vacation for myself as an incentive to get through this. Having just retired, I want to travel a lot and the knees were a limiting factor. I am doing very well in PT so I think I can make it all work! I have given myself the option to cancel the trip, of course, but it’s a real “carrot” at the end of this ordeal!
