All appointments are prioritized on the basis of medical need, and the team members who will care for you or your family have the expertise and skills to provide the best care possible. Hello. I was referred because of pain in middle back region which I've had for a little over year and a half. I also have some pain in chest and epigastric area which I sort of feel like is connected to the middle back pain, but could be of different cause. I haven't a gotten a definitive explanation or diagnosis yet. In summer/fall 2018 I also developed low back pain which has fortunately not been constant, but comes on occasion. My pain seems unrelated to activities of daily living, is continious (the middle back pain) and makes it hard to sleep. I was referred by a neurologist. I'm not actually entirely sure what he wanted to look for, but what I understood was that he wanted to check for inflammation in the spine. It's a bone scan and skeletal SPECT-CT scan of thorax, I think. Tanks for the reply.
