How is everyone doing on their quest for shoes?? Laura , how are your inserts doing? do you feel like they have helped you and are you glad you went there?? I too need a wide toe box. I need the support of shoes, but can't stand shoes on my feet.. My second toe is longer than big toe also and it is very sore right now and my planters fasciitis is hurting. I've purchase so many and send them back. I've kept one spenco , but they aren't great. I have a pair of earth orgins and a pair of sas coming tomorrow. Also another pair of reeds. All of these are sandals.. Do you need the wide in sandals also?. I only need the wide in closed in shoes. I'm thinking of trying Finn. 250.00 a pair, but I'll do anything. I would go to foot solutions but I don't want close in shoes. I haven't been exercising like I should because this wears me down...

@peggyn, that is funny that you asked about my orthotics today! I went back to Foot Solutions today because they were hurting and the Pedorthist made an adjustment to them. I have them in my running shoes, Brooks Adrenaline. These shoes are extra wide! I can’t wear any kind of running shoes unless it is an extra wide, EE, which is so difficult to find but I found on Amazon. There is sufficient room in the toe box!! I have gotten so many pairs of shoes online and like you, send them back. Foot Solutions has a good selection of many different kinds, athletic, sandals, you name it. You may just want to go in and try some on just to see how they feel. But it sounds like you have discovered a lot of brands I have never heard of before...I hope you get lucky and one of them will help! Yes, exercising is really hard but I do a little just to keep myself moving!! -Laura
